The truth is that no one would pray to have any of their social media accounts hacked. This doesn't mean that it may not happen either now or in the future. That being said, have you been in a situation where your social media account was hacked? How did you recover that?

Yeah that has happened to me a couple of times. Steam, Amazon (repeatedly, even though I keep on changing my password), Instagram, Ubisoft and Facebook have all been hacked.
Facebook support services were the worst possible. They refused to help me because I was not an American Citizen (!)

My g/f's X got hacked a couple of years ago. They couldn't login or do anything, as it locked the hacker out. I was able to recover it, then closed it as she never used it! Besides that, I've not had any issues...
Not hacked, but I had to recover a social media account on Facebook that I forgot the password to both my email, and account. Thankfully it was synced to an Instagram account where I remembered the password, and I got back in, but I still cannot change my password.
Oh shit.
I don't use social media anymore. Well, Instagram, but just to spread about my new on-line store. hehehe
