I still miss these guys... Ti and Oscar together, up in Buxton back in August 2007

My parents retired to Buxton, in the heart of the Peak District, and we often used to go up to visit for long weekends. Our dogs, first Ti and later on Oscar, used to really love it up there. SO much mud to explore. Here is a picture of Ti from about 2005 in her typical two-tone camoflague scheme... 
Now that is something she was physically allergic to. 'Clean... Fresh.... Water...? No thank you', said Ti, and then she would run off and hide somewhere the moment the bucket came out.hahaha! Someone needs a bath!!
We did wonder if there was a bit of cat in her make-up... she certainly used to curl up on your lap and purr like one!
Agreed. Esp. in the first pic. I'd love to go for a hike through there!
THe Peak District around Buxton is a lovely place, rich ground for hikers or people on pedal-bikes going up and down along the trails and disused railways lines. I would recommend it to anyone who waants to get out and about and explore the countryside. We spent many hours and sometimes the entire day up there hiking and walking or looking for the dog who had run off somewhere...
Yeah, it's in the northern midlands about midway between Birmingham and Manchester. Here's another one of Ti up in Buxton in the Peak District, although for once the water is a tad cleaner...
Here is a picture of Ti down in Dawlish, one of her favourite spots (I scattered her ashes there), enjoying the tail-end of an Devonian ice-cream... 
Yes, she did. She was especially happy at the beach or near/around water!
I haven't been to the beach is almost 20 years. Never had a pup there either. The closest beach here is the Gulf Coast. Quite a bit away...
A sight sadly no more... awakening with what looked like the twin barrels of a shotgun staring back at you...
