Cooking with firewood is a trick I'm used. My dad used to take me camping with him and it's with firewood he cooks. It's how I learnt how to use firewood to cook.

Yeah I cooked with firewood in the past when camping or on a 'survival course'. All I could taste in the food was 'burn firewood'...

I stopped cooking with firewood many years ago because it always affects my eyes when I make my meals. It is never something that I enjoyed, and for the reason, I focused on using gas cookers in making my meals.
