It is actually Eden's birthday today. He is three. Had some doggie birthday cake for lunch, too, although it looked like cup-cake it was obviously more like a crunchy biscuit.
It was actually quite a disappointing day for Eden, as he could not get out much - literally raining cats & dogs for most of the day, with plenty of thunder, lightning and localised flooding thrown in for good measure. Fortunately he realised as such, and spent most of the time at the back door staring out of the window at our flooding garden and looking pretty glum. He did like his three little doggie birthday cake treats though, and his new toy which looks a little like a stick of dynamite.
Here is a recent photo of him taken back at the start of the month. He's in our garden watching out for those sly, sneaky squirrels that he knows are out there.
