Online shopping is a huge trend today. It's very possible to buy almost everything you need from different online stores and have them delivered to your door step without any stress.

Are their things which you wouldn't order online even when it's possible for you to do so? What could that item be?

This is a fascinating question. My g/f and I get everything on-line.....

I wouldn’t buy ice cream online. It might melt by the time it gets to my house.🤣

For me it is clothes. They have to be somethings either I can try on in a shop, or can easily take back to the actual shop and get an exchange without having to go through all the frustrating and tedious things like packaging stuff up and then taking it back to a Post Office (assuming you can find one around here, the two most closest have now closed!)

The post office closed? Shit man. All they do here is keep raising the price of stamps and shipping. :(

Oh golly gosh yes the price of stamps/postage is unbelievably high these days. And the either don't deliver things or loose them or they turn up damaged! No wonder os many people use private couriers. I can honestly see 'The Royal Mail' getting sold off or broken up within the next few years.
I also try to do as much household stuff on-line including bills, invoices etc.

  • Holy shit!

I order food online, improvements for my site. Other than I prefer to buy things in-person. I usually go with whatever is more convenient for me.

I wouldn't buy groceries, including ice cream, nor would I buy medicine or some pharmaceuticals.

The Post Office here isn't too bad about delivering stuff. A lot of companies also use UPS or FedEx. But those cost even more!

We order food/snacks from Walmart on-line, but it is delivered right away, fresh (well, most of the time, raw chicken that wasn't even cold was delivered once). Improvements for the site on-line, of course. I buy the main groceries once a week. Everything else is Amazon! :)

I reckon the British Royal Mail/Post Office will sono be officially broken up and sold off piece meal. It is getting worse and worse, so many people who need stuff sent through snail-mail use private couriers, and now so many documents and post is sent electronically, I am not sure that such a big organisation like the Royal Mail/British Post office needs to exist any more

Shit man. And I hear the Canadian Post office is on strike!
